Jack Eichkorn offers 35 plus successful years of experience in the book industry. In 1968, Jack began with Macmillan Publishing and has moved on through various avenues of trade, juvenile and technical publishing, holding various management positions along the way. Having been in commission book sales since 1975, Jack offers a wide range of knowledge and expertise, and understands the needs of all types of accounts in an ever-changing marketplace. Jack obtained his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from St. Louis University. He covers the chains, mass merchandise accounts, and major wholesalers.
Steve Dusanek adds over 10 years of publishers’ representation. He has handled sales training, staff motivation, and successfully tackled all levels of account management. His thorough understanding of trade, paperback and children’s book sales, along with publishing trends brings a fresh and creative approach to selling our varied lines. Steve covers Northern Illinois, Minnesota, North & South Dakota, Michigan, most of Wisconsin and Indiana.
Matt Eichkorn has been in the publishing industry for the past 9 years. Matt has his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia. Matt began his career in the book industry several years ago, covering Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Nebraska, and Kentucky. He has worked closely with his father, Jack, to gain the necessary skills and experience that will make him very successful in the book industry.
Lindsey Sprague and Peggy Eichkorn, the company’s office personnel, are available to answer questions, provide procedural information, resolve problems, and assist with processing orders. They enable us to be up-to-date on sales, and make us readily accessible to the publishers and customers we service.
